SMS Terms & Conditions for Willow & Stone PLLC

These SMS Terms & Conditions govern text messages sent by Willow & Stone PLLC (“Willow & Stone,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to patients and prospective patients who have consented to receive them. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or of purchasing any service.

Text messaging is not a secure or continuously monitored channel, and it should never be used for urgent or emergency concerns. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.

1. SMS Consent Communication

The information you provide as part of the SMS consent process — including your phone number — will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

2. Types of SMS Communications

If you have consented to receive text messages from Willow & Stone PLLC, you may receive messages related to the following:

  • Appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders
  • Follow-up messages after a visit, including care and prescription instructions
  • Replies to questions you have sent to the practice
  • Billing and account inquiries

Example: “Hello, this is a friendly reminder of your upcoming appointment with Dr. Stacey Forbes at Willow & Stone on Friday at 10:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time.”

We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication and your care needs. You may receive up to 2 SMS messages per week related to your appointments or account.

4. Potential Fees for SMS Messaging

Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if a message is sent domestically or internationally. Willow & Stone does not charge you for text messages.

5. Opt-In Method

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Willow & Stone PLLC in any of the following ways:

  • Verbally, during a phone call or an appointment
  • By checking the SMS consent box on a form on this website
  • By completing a paper or electronic intake form at our office

6. Opt-Out Method

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. Simply reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us. You may also contact the office directly by phone or email to request removal from our messaging list. After you opt out, you will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that.

7. Help

Additional options: If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, simply leave the SMS consent box on our forms unchecked.

Your mobile number and the record of your consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your SMS consent or phone number with any third party for marketing purposes.
